I own a 1994 toyota pickup truck with a body lift and oversized (30×9.50R15LT) RV tires.Could these oversized tires (by putting more stress on the engine) cause my truck to run warmer than it should?

  1. FORD-MAN says:

    It shouldn’t effect it.

  2. R P says:

If the tires were manufactured in Florida, YES !

  3. dathinman8 says:

No, the tires won’t make any difference in the running temperature of the engine. The truck itself will be warmer because it’s closer to the sun………

Yeah Some. it puts extra load on the engine but also the trany heating the fluid more that transfers more heat to the radiator. External trany cooler will help.

  5. UCANTCME says:

YES TO SOME DEGREE BECAUSE YOU ARE PUTTING AN EXTRA STRAIN ON THE ENGINE ASSEMBLY.
