Just wondering how long I can drive (km) with my dummy tire on? I’m hoping to wait until Saturday to get it fixed.

About a 50 miles but you can’t drive very fast! so freeway is out of the question..

By the way you can get a used tire for 25 bucks so get a used tire for now. Neweyes777

don’t rely on that tire. It is only made for a certain distance and a certain speed. You definitely don’t want to push the limits, you could have that tire go flat. HAZE S

Dummy ? You mean not full size spare ? Less than 100km at less than 80km/h. - i.e. 60 miles at 50 mph. =42

It’s designed to get you to a safe spot to replace the tire, so it should be changed as quickly as possible.
However, you can probably drive it for about 50 miles without any problems. da3rdxsacharm

Dummy tires are only meant to be driven from where you put it on the car to the tire repair shop. They are far more likely to fail, cause a mechanical problem, or cause you to lose control than a regular tire, as they are designed only for emergency use. My Evil Twin

you are only supposed to use it to get to a service station
having it on the drive axles can ruin differential
if front wheel drive donut should be on back
rear wheel drive tire should be on front
not made to go over 45 or stay on there mike t

depends on how far you drive every day, but you should be safe until Saturday, also look into replacing the dummy with a full size tire, alot of times a real tire will fit in the well, rich2481

Compact spare tires get a bad rap because of talk like this. The truth is the tire is rated for 3000 mi/4800 km. It is true that it is rated for lower speeds 55mph/90km. You should be fine until Saturday. Hope this helps. Larry S

It could be 5 min. or 5 hrs, or 5 days, if you a have any realization of the congestion’s ….change it now.
The cost to you could be astronomical, serious car damage, injury to yourself, injury to others, fatal results, and a long time is jail.
Which you would deserve for the sake of a few £’s or $’s. John L
