How to get tire shine off of leather seats, and can it damage them?
Robert asked:
I was just detailing my car and decided to put some leather cleaner on my seats (armorall brand), right next to the bottle was also a tire shine bottle with the exact same shaped bottle. I accidentally picked up the tire shine and started to apply it to my black leather seats. Obviously after i finished one pair of seats i saw something was wrong. Any ideas on how to get the stuff off, or if it will damage the seats? Appreciate the help, feel like an idiot.

What is this noise Im hearing around my tire?
mysty_2u asked:
I have a 1995 Chevy Beretta and every time I turn left, I am hearing a popping noise coming from around the drivers side tire. After I straighten out, it feels like something is grinding and then the noise goes away until I turn left again. What could this be?

How do you take out the part that mounts a spare tire?
Kay Williams asked:
I have a spare tire mounted under the bed of my truck, in between the two back tires (on a 2001 Dodge Dakota) and the piece to lower it rusted out and broke. Is there a way to remove the entire part that mounts it, and if so, what would I need to do that and how?

would you still consider using your tire over and over if it has several patches due to puncture?
a_joemar asked:
ok the tire is tubeless and is used on SUV. would there be different in performance of a tire if it has several patches inside the tire? or would just probably dispose it and buy a new one.

Is it possible for a lift at a tire shop to damage a flywheel?
Bill asked:
I went to Discount Tire and as soon as I left the truck made an odd noise. A mechanic at Aamco said it may be a chipped flywheel. Can a hydraulic lift damage that part of a vehicle?
I did make them aware of the problem and they listened to it the same day. They said they only do tires and could not diagnose the problem themselves.

How do I inflate a flat wheelbarrow tire?
Reuben asked:
I am beginning to think that this is impossible. The tire is totally flat and just sort of dangling on the rim of the wheelbarrow. I have tried using a ratchet-strap around the tire to form a seal between the rim and tire, but the tension produced by the strap was not uniform due to the bulky ratcheting device, so no seal was formed. I even tried using my belt at one point, but no luck. I am out of ideas and I desperately need to move a mulch pile that is full of fire-ants.

Why would one tire wear out faster than the others?
Shaunna asked:
Our car is pulling to the right, and the front right tire is smooth, bald. The others need to be replaced too but not nearly as bad. Are the 2 issues connected?

Are tire stores required to tell you if the tire you are buying is a blemished tire?
welovethedark asked:
I need information about “blems” or blemished tires. A family member bought new tires and did not know they were blemished. The tires ended up going out of balance really quickly. A family friend had the same experiece at the same tire store. The salesperson did not tell either my family member or our family friend that the tires were blemished. They both have to get new tires now. Is the tire store liable?
