By California law is a used car dealership required to sell a car with a spare tire, or owners manual?
Natasha asked:
I recently bought a 2006 Dodge Charger, before I go purchase these things I would just like to make sure the dealership was not suppose to be responsible for them. I am checking on a spare tire, and an owners manual.

Not positive about CA law but in most cases all the car needs is to pass inspection and it doesn’t need those 2 to pass. A 2006 and no spare or manual? I’d tell them you’re going to file with the BBB. 20G8J8FY
NO. the dealer is not required to provide those items. It is your responsability as the consumer to make sure you are getting everything you want with the car( used car). I am positive that had you asked the dealer for those two items as a stipulation of the sale, they would have provided them for you. The Griffin
No. You bought a car with no spare and no manual. Scott H
